Reducer Mining Hose
Reducer mining hose is a short tube used to connect two pipe sections of different sizes. It has two types. Concentric reducers are conical fittings that connect pipes on the same axis, while eccentric reducers have one side parallel to the adjacent pipes.
The inner layer is wear-resistant; the middle layer is reinforced with steel wire spirals and a pressure-bearing polyester fabric; and the outer layer is protective. Reducer mining hoses are primarily used in suction and discharge applications for slurry pumps.
The reducing hose is made of flexible rubber and can be rotated and moved in the field while minimizing misalignment and vibration.
